Muay Thai Minds
A grassroots training group. Exeter.
Traditional Muay Thai, taught the way it was meant to be — with discipline, respect for the craft and a genuine community around it. We train the fundamentals. We build real skill. We welcome people who have never thrown a punch alongside people who have competed at world level.
The destination is yours - fitness, confidence, competition, or simply a better way to handle what life throws at you. We start from the ground and build from there. Wherever you want to go, the experience and the contacts are here to take you.
Discipline. Skill. Respect.
I · Soil
Ground yourself
Leave the day at the door.
No experience needed. No ego required. Just show up, get in the water and breathe. Whatever you're carrying when you walk in - it stays outside.
II · Seeds
Find your people
Move. Breathe. Belong.
Friendly pad work and light sparring in a safe, welcoming environment. You'll get fit, have fun and find yourself training alongside people who are here for the same reasons you are. No pressure. No judgment. A real community, from your very first session.
III · Growth
Build something lasting
Show up. Get stronger.
Discipline and consistency do their quiet work - beneath the surface, before anything shows. Your fitness builds. Your technique sharpens. Your confidence follows - not because anyone told you to feel confident, but because you earned it, session by session.
IV · Branches
Go further
Reach beyond the water.
One-to-one coaching. Higher-level sparring. Outdoor and nature-based sessions. Training visits with members from other clubs. Your ambitions set the pace - the contacts, the experience and the community are here to match them.
V · Bloom
Mind, body and spirit
See what you're made of.
When body and mind are working together, something shifts. What you've built beneath the surface starts to show. An interclub, an exhibition fight, a competition - or simply a version of yourself you didn't expect to find. This is what the journey was for.
The skills to get you there.

who has been there.
Two knee operations. A second pregnancy. A year away from the mat. Christi knows what it takes to come back - and what it costs not to. Every session she coaches carries that experience: how to train hard without breaking yourself, how to protect the body you have, and how to keep showing up when life makes it difficult.
Muay Thai Minds wasn't built to a plan. It grew from something simpler - a need to coach, to create, to have somewhere to leave the noise of daily life at the door. A few classes. A name that arrived with a feeling attached to it. A community that formed around people who needed the same thing.
That's still what it is.
World titles matter. What she learned after them matters more.

The Pack
Good training partners are hard to find. At Muay Thai Minds, that's what you get - skilled, disciplined people who show up to work, not to posture. People who will push you, catch you on a bad day, and celebrate the sessions where everything clicks.
The pack doesn't stay inside these walls. Members train with clubs across the region, spar at different levels, and build friendships that go beyond the mat. Show up consistently and you'll find yourself part of something - and wondering how you trained without it.
Your boundaries are yours. You can opt out of any exercise, without explanation. An alternative is always available.
