Muay Thai Minds is a grassroots martial arts training group in Exeter, built on a simple idea: that the traditional disciplines of Muay Thai, boxing, and kickboxing - taught properly, with patience and respect - can do more than build fighters. They build people.
No contracts. No ego. No shortcuts. Just honest training, a close-knit community, and a coach who has done it at the highest level and come back to share what she learned.
Christi Brereton. World champion. Coach. The person in your corner.
Competing from the age of 14, Christi built a career across three disciplines - Muay Thai, boxing, and kickboxing - earning world titles with the WPMF, WBC Muaythai, WRSA, and Roar Combat League. She co-owned and ran a training centre for twelve years, competed at international level with Glory Kickboxing, and navigated two knee operations, a second pregnancy, and a year away from the mat.
She came back not to compete, but to coach - and to have somewhere to put the things that matter: the craft, the mentorship, the quiet focus that training gives you when the rest of life is loud. Muay Thai Minds wasn't a business plan. It was an outlet that became a community.

“I had to dig deep. Positivity on all outcomes of the negative setbacks. It's something I continue to work on daily.”
Three disciplines. Traditional roots. One community.
